Snapdeal, in 2013 opened up its affiliate program in Indian market. before which Snapdeal was indirectly running its affiliate program with the help of third party affiliate network including OMG and Tyroo. A lot had changed since the Snapdeal directly opened up its affiliate programs for affiliate marketers. Previously, before opening up directly into the affiliate business Snapdeal gave a 4 to 8 percent cut to affiliate marketers who accesses its affiliate program through third party. but now Snapdeal is offering upto 20% commission to its content partners (aka Affiliate Partners).

Snapdeal as a company values its affiliates and the creativity and efforts brought by the Bloggers, Photographers, Poets and other Content Partners. The affiliate Pay out slabs for snapdeal: Electronics Category: 10% to a maximum of Rs. 1,250. All Other Categories: 20% to a maximum of Rs. 1,250. Earlier Snapdeal affiliate cut was of 10% to a maximum of Rs. 400, Snapdeal has now increased the affiliate cut to more than triple, so now you all have an opportunity to earn up to Rs. 1250 per sale. Signing up and getting approved for Snapdeal Affiliate program:
While Snapdeal is quick in checking onto affiliate requests, it took me three days to get a response from Snapdeal affiliate program for the approval of my website. But finally when I was approved and was able to access the affiliate dashboard of Snapdeal. This means that it could take upto 3-4 business days to get a response from snapdeal Affiliate program.
How to join Snapdeal affiliate program
To join Snapdeal affiliate go to affiliate.snapdeal.com and click on affiliate signup. fill in the form completely and make sure all the data is correctly filled. At the end you will be asked to add the website which you want to join the affiliate program for and then click submit. You will soon be getting a response from Snapdeal and will be able to access the affiliate program dashboard. Adding/generating affiliate link, choose any product/page URL from snapdeal’s website and add the following tracking parameters at the end of it Do not forget to replace the offer id and affiliate id with yours. While I am not so good at affiliate marketing, I gave it a try and it was pretty good actually but could have been better if i would have waited for any exclusive release of any product from Snapdeal’s website.
Things to remember before you enter the Snapdeal affiliate program
The orders would be approved after 30 days of the transaction recorded. Cancelled/Returned orders would not be eligible for the Snapdeal affiliate fee. Cookie duration for snapdeal affiliate program is only 24 hours
